So I've been going back and forth between 2 different series and realized it wouldn't be long before I finished both of them. So I decided to find a 3rd to throw into the mix. I am SO glad I found this one. I'm already a fan of the author but hadn't heard of this character. I think I'm going to have to read the 2nd book sooner rather than later. I love Lucy (no pun intended) and Sean. The twists and turns this takes are spectacular! All I can say is, just give it a try. Read the whole thing. If you love a mystery with a bit of romance, and some crazy friends/family members, you will love this one!

This was a good, cozy read. I liked the paranormal element of the detective being physic. I think it was set up quite well and the character was enjoyable. It was a pleasant read with nothing extreme about plot or romance. Normally that would be boring to me, but I enjoyed how comfortable this was and the humor had my lol. I'll be reading more of this series.
Heather Webber has really created a winner with this first Valentine Inc book!!!

I not only luuuvvv her quirky fun cast of characters...I luuuvvv 'em enough, I'd get a kick out of a day job at Valentine Inc!!! I wonder if they're accepting applications?! LOL!

Can't wait to re-visit this fun and fabulous world again and again with each new story in the series!!!
I am hooked on Lucy and her great cast of characters. I ordered this book some time back and before I was finished I got the next 2. Totally charming and have got nothing done this weekend other than read. This is the kind of series I love and has it all. Please tell me there will be more to come?

This was a fun book for me to read. I live in the area the book is set in so I might be a bit bias. It was great knowing most of the locations, streets and town. The story it self was fun too. This book was a mystery meets romantic comedy. The dialogue was entertaining and flowed nicely. A quick read. Good summer reading. I can't wait to start the next book in the series!
I tend to shy away from books tagged under romance but having read Mrs. Webber/ Blakes other books i figured it wouldnt hurt to give Lucy Valentine a shot. I was pleasantly surprised and finished this book in record time. I've already purchased the second in the series and dont think I will wait to dive in. This book had me giggling out loud within the first chapter and rooting for the Sean and Lucy thing to work out. Cant wait to get into the next book to see how everything plays out!
I found the novel, "Truly,Madly" just that truly and a wee bit madly. From page one you get the sense that Lucy is a special girl and that nothing in her world is quite 'normal.'

I like the fact she is wealthy but earning her own way. It shows her independent spirit. Then, she doesn't share the family 'talents' and has to struggle to find a way to fit in the families business.

The mystery was good and very realistic. She works as most paranormal psychics do..with some of the abilities and not all of them.

I also liked that her male P.I. is dealing with a contemporary medical illness and wears a defibrillator. This can bring many more tense and funny moments for the books to come.

I'm buying a couple more copies of this book for friends of mine to enjoy for Valentine's Day...

I had not read any of Heather Webber's books until I stumbled on this one, but I am now totally hooked. This book was such a fun read that I didn't put it down until it was done. The characters in this book are so much fun. They're quirky, but lovable. I like the romance between Lucy and Sean - both are cautious and so the relationship builds slowly (and hopefully it will continue to develop). Lucy's parents and grandmother are unconventional, which Lucy understands and accepts. Raphael, who's more like Lucy's father than her own father, is one of my favorite characters. The ESP angle is well done and doesn't over-power the plot. I never felt any drag in the story - it kept moving along and taking me with it. This is definitely a series that I will follow as long as Heather keeps writing.
