Pay attention to detail. When your character is sprawled out in mesh athletic shorts and a tight t-shirt...and the characters begin to remove their clothes all of a sudden she is pulling down the zipper to his jeans it's confusing and made me question what I just read. I actually had to go back several pages and reread the description to see if I had read it wrong. I didn't!! What is sad is if the author did not catch the mistake the editor sure should have!!! I don't know about anyone else but it makes a person lose their concentration when something like that happens and then I start to look for other mistakes rather than focusing on the storyline. I did not once feel a connection between the two characters. They are supposed to be long time friends, best friends in fact and there is little dialogue between the two characters. The gave a detailed background on the characters but aside from getting a hard-on for her there is no emotion between the two except when he questioned what Sandra was doing. So aside from the fact it had been along time since Adam had, had sex seemed there was no emotion!! No highs, no lows nothing to suck you in and make you lose track of time. Like I said before very disappointed. Sadly not even worth ¢99.Sigh!!!

I enjoyed the story until the abrupt ending. After so much build up, the way it ended was a bit of a let down.
I debated giving this 2 stars or 3 but since it was free I decided on 3 stars. This was a short story with the H returning home from war. The h has had a crush but been best friends with the H since high school. My biggest problem is I didn't get that the H has any real feelings for the h. He almost seemed asexual. She never knew any girls he dated in high school and he moves in with her and doesn't hit on her or go out since coming back home??
She basically seduces him, they have sex, and the book ends. I guess I just needed some feeling from the Hero or maybe some dialogue about how he wanted her or loved her.
When I started reading the story, it seemed ok. Story line was nice, then mid way in, the it was WTF am I reading. The main charaxter went from being insecure to literally jumping the guy's bones. She just seem desperate. Disappointing.
This story was really hot. I wished it was longer. I need more of these characters. I love the authors style of writing.
This is a good story line and the characters were just starting to develop but the ending was very rushed. There could have been at least 3 or 4 more chapters in getting them together and of course the last chapter in how they ended up. Very disappointed in the rush job.
Good story. Good sex scenes. Story too short. Wish it had been longer with more sex scenes and romance. Would like to read more books like this thogh.
Short story about a girl and guy who have been friends for years. She has always liked him more than friends, but when he goes into the military they still keep in contact through letters. When he comes home she realizes that she wants more than friendship even though he still sees her as his best friend. One night of drinking and she makes her move. He is nervous, surprised by her boldness, but soon discovers that he is more than willing to see where this will go. Nice steamy sex scene.
