This book is an excellent resource for anyone who does yoga and also struggles with pain. Upon receiving this book I read it from beginning to end. Now it is in my yoga space and I refer to it daily and use her suggestions in my daily yoga practice. I appreciate the way it is organized (upper body, lower body, and spine), and the table of contents make it easy to locate a particular issue.

My copy of this book is dog eared and torn. Pages falling out with notes in the margin. Answers to questions that I didn't even know I should be asking. I can't wait to read her next book.
What an easy to grasp and awesomely laid out book. As a new yoga instructor I think this book will act as a multi-use Swiss Army knife when I have a student with a limitation I do not grasp or need a deeper understanding of. The book is riddled with easy to remember gems, anatomy breakdown, and links to watch further physical demonstrations of the points Jaime is conveying. Besides the amazing treasure trove of information on helping limitations, so many of the asana (pose) variations and exercises will be invaluable woven into my everyday sequencing. Thank you Jamie for making the new fresh world of teaching yoga a bit more grounded and safe for my students and I. ॐ

I read the version of this from Unlimited and have it on my wish list to buy the paperback. As a new yoga teacher I think this will be an invaluable resource. This follows beautifully with much of what I learned in yoga teacher training and was afraid I'd forget.I love knowing this is available when I need a reminder. I'm also a bit of an anatomy nerd, so it was as fun to read as it was informative.
I love this book! I am a yoga teacher and practitioner and teacher trainer, and I can see how this book will be useful in all three regards. It is full of information that clearly describes common issues that I have experienced in my own body and that my students have complained of, and gives great suggestions for working with these issues in practice/class. I love how Jaimie doesn't shy away from using anatomical terminology, but does so in a way that is relatively simple and very understandable. She also very clearly describes functional movement as it relates to the pain/injuries/issues that people may be experiencing. This is one of my new favorite resources. Thank you Jaimie!
This is a great book! The title is deceiving because it seems like this is a book for people who do yoga when in reality it is a book about how some very common and easy yoga positions are therapeutic for various physical issues. I have 2 of the books one with black and white pictures but I enjoy the colored photos so I purchased this one too! Jaimie did a great job writing this book in simple English and simple terms. She also has a newsletter that is quick insightful and worth signing up for at Yogaistherapy.com. In the newsletter is a schedule of her upcoming workshops. While most are in Tucson she does travel to other areas of the country and does workshops there. I have attended a number of her workshops and they are very engaging and beneficial. She provides follow-up via email with additional information and links to videos. This way you do not need to try and remember all the information provided. This book is a great reference and definitely worth the money. Not your typical yoga book!
Questions asked were answered in a simple, understandable manner. Drawings were easy to understand and an adjunct to the explanations. The writer is knowledgeable and explains in an easy and comprehensive way. I learned from this book, and enjoyed reading it.
